NCAA College basketball news

March Madness is all a game for the Big East regular season championship. March 8, Louisville played the Georgetown Hoyas. Despite the Hoyas are 8-2 in their last 10, it is the Cardinals that really seem to be making its way to March Madness. Louisville has not lost since a game 69-67 in Connecticut, with his attitude of first team and a great coach, Rick Pitino.

The Cardinals will have to beat Georgetown in the Verizon Center in D.C. that no other team has done this year. Some problems at the start of the season, including injuries and losses, many people were pessimistic about the Cardinals. However, they are 16-11-1 against the general dissemination and 8-1-1 ETA this year.

Most of his success is by Padgett inspired game. Padgett broke his knee earlier in the season and despite this injury, returned after missing only 6 weeks. One lesser player would have lost much more than that with a broken knee cap. The Cardinals know what leadership of Padgett that made the difference as soon as things this season.

Padgett is an average of 11.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2 assists in 22 7 minutes of play. He has also adopted a team approach of Pitino, which has helped the Cardinals to position itself to win the Big East Championship. They were in last place in the Conference at the beginning of the year and it is now tied first generally is not how a team makes it to the Championship.

The Hoyas Roy Hibbert could be giving the Cardinals a term for their money. Between its size and the direction of coach John Thompson, has redefined the defensive State of the Hoyas. Hibbert has an average of 2.3 blocks per game. His team is the best in the nation in percentage of shots of defensive field and 4th in points allowed. Hibbert takes pride in defence and help his teammates from the weak side and blocking shots. Hibbert has also improved his game throughout and leads the Hoyas in points and rebounds.

Thompson feels that Hibbert has matured both professionally and personally this year. However, the Hoyas have not been much of a commitment so far, with only 11-14 ATS at home 4-8. Georgetown had two victories of wire razor, one at Villanova and the other on Marquette that could have gone the and are sunk in the standings.

Jonathan Wallace hit 2 free throws with a tie score and 1/10 of a second on the clock, giving a 55-53 against the Wildcats of the Hoyas win. Wallace was flawed beyond the arc with 2.8 seconds in the match against the gold Egals. He did all the free throws 3, sending the game to extra, where the Hoyas won a victory by two points.

Both teams are 14-3 in Conference play and the top 5 defensive squads in the country. Georgetown is 14/1 to win the NCAA Basketball Championship. Louisville is 8/1. Georgetown and Louisville is as close as they are, free throws could make the difference between a team in the Conference Championship as the top seed. The Hoyas disparan.669, the cardenales.659.
